Enviorment Concepts

Here is some of the buildings I have been working on.

This is an early style I was looking at.
I liked this one but started looking at shanti towns in Brazil.

This is the last latest edition and I think this is style will go for:

New concept

After a slight change in the story, the main character comes into the middle of circular town. Here lays a fountain that is dry. He puts down his bag and as he does you see the darkness creeping into him from all directions. This is the concept piece I created for this shot.

Colour Storboard Concepts

I was really inspired by the Incredibles for this piece. I have focused mainly on the colour theory rather than character and environment, while still keeping it consistent with the story.

In this image I used warm colours with a complimentary green for the sky, I think it really works well as a strong pallet.

Here is the cool version, I don't feel the same power that comes across in the warmer version but it is nice to see a contrast.

Visual Concepts

Here was the first visual concept I created, it's of the main character looking over the dull city.

Another concept of my vision for the street scene. This was an early idea of the man as he was glowing standing in the street.

Storyboards

Heres the first storyboards, that will probably change

Film Treatment

This is our blog for our short film. Trouvialle made by Jack Waller, Les Davis and Tim Padwick.

Treatment:
A wandering beggar comes to a town just before sunrise. The town is grey and dull, totally devoid of creativity, imagination, joy and colour, choked with the blackness.
